I've been doing some web work using Mojo and Docker on the Oracle Cloud. I signed up for the free tier and, foolishly perhaps, imagined that it would continue to work for the foreseeable future. However, a few days ago I received an email from Oracle, saying…

Sure enough, all access to my account has been deleted. What the heck is going on? It's a pretty shady trick to just suddenly delete a users account, without any warning.
If someone could give me an explanation of why this has occurred, and what, if anything, can be done to resolve it, I would be very grateful.
As it is, I cannot log in to myaccount on the web, nor can I ssh
into my account with ssh -i /Users/carlcaulkett/Documents/_Carls_Stuff/ssh/ssh-key-2025-02-06.key opc@132.145.47.167
.
Okay, I'm not a big corporate customer, just a humble hobbyist who thought they had found a reasonable and economic way of exploring cloud-based web services. Now, it seems that Oracle have just pulled the plug on me. I signed up in good faith… will Oracle respond in good faith and restore my account?
