Where's my model!

Simon GreenerDec 11 2024 — edited Dec 15 2024

The problem I have came about because of what I described here.

Because of the problems I have had with opening a model (my SQL Developer is now set to open with 4G of memory!), I started saving my model to create backups.

Now, when I try to open any of my models the model opens but with an empty Relational_1 (I have no Logical Models only a single physical model).

Looking inside the model's folder, the rel folder appears to have references to my relational model and its tables etc.

My model is not big - about 150 tables.

Is there any tool I can use to validate a model and extract the existing model from the actual XML documents?

Does this make any sense? Am I explaining it properly?

Simon
