Unable to run OATS Web Load Testing - Orphaned agent status

I'm opening this as a new thread since the previous thread owned by another user was closed so I suspect it wasn't getting any attention. Please see thread=976654 for history.

We have a desktop which was able to run successfully twice, but unable ever since. We've tried re-installing the application 10 times, rebooting, restarting services but nothing seems to work. Still receiving "Unexpected Agent exit. Code = 1" error. We have it running successfully on a laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we need this to run on a dedicated, connected machine.
