SQL developer issues when trying to launch it on mac - java.lang.module.FindException: Module javafx.base not found

I am trying open SQL developer on a macbook and I cannot do it. I am trying to do it with terminal and I get the following error. I am not sure what is wrong and how to address this. Can someone help?
