Smartview Report with HsgetValue to retain the data when it is opened by user who has not access to Oracle

Lakshmi PriyaDec 5 2024 — edited Dec 5 2024

I have build an Excel report in Smartview using HsGetvalue formula. Everything is working fine until I'm connected. When I try to save and share the report to the user, he does not see the data/numbers, instead sees #no CONNECTION. However, he can connect to the Private Connections url and retrieve the data as he has access to Oracle Planning application on which the report is built.

However, his requirement is to share this report to the internal Audit team who does not have access to Oracle. They just want to see the numbers in the report. Is there a way to save the report in a different format to retain the data.

Thanks,

LP
