Single login for oracle applications

I am doing a project which involves BI Beans and Oracle Discoverer Viewer application.I have installed Oracle Application Server 10.0.2. I need to have a single login for these 2 applications.
Can anyone please explain me in detail how to go about this?I only have a very limited knowledge about this single sign-on
