Setting up an Oracle ODBC Driver and Data Source (Windows 7 and Oracle 10/11)

Hello everyone,

One of our QA testers recently suffered a workstation failure. We installed a brand new workstation with Windows 7.

This employee makes heavy use of MS Excel which needs to connect to several Oracle 10 and 11 databases to pull data to fill out in his reports.

We followed this document to install an ODBC connector:

https://tensix.com/2012/06/setting-up-an-oracle-odbc-driver-and-data-source/

We successfully installed the Oracle driver. But the problem is that Oracle driver is not visible in Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administator.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
