I am running on OIM 11gr2 and have the following requirement for self registration:
1. A group of approvers will approve or deny the self registration requests
2. Approvers belong to the organization parent
3. requesters belong to children organizations
To set this up, I need to create an OIM role (role type) named APPROVERS, assign the APPROVERS role and the Admin role of "User Administrator" to the parent organization to user A and B.
In the workflow, ApprovalTasks.task, participant type, should I use
Identification Type=Group,
Data Type=By Name or By Expression?,
Value=/task:task/task:payload/task:APPROVERS
Is this the only modification I need to do in the workflow?
I set up the auto-approve for the operation level approval. I will create an approval policy and attach the self registration (request level) to this customized workflow.
