Restart of managed server after deploy of MDS

Hey guys,

Anybody knows why is it necessary the restart of the weblogic managed server after the deploy of the new MDS (metadata) for it to be active? From my perspective it shouldn't be necessary as the server should acquire the changes immediately. Is it anything to do with the configuration of soa-infra or the application?
