Typically, the Request/Submit Information functionality within workflow tasks is executed between the task initiator and the current task owner (approver). However, our current business need requires the ability to request additional information from users who have already approved a task earlier in the workflow.
In other words, once a user has approved a particular task, we want to enable the task initiator (or another authorized user) to initiate a Request for Information (RFI) back to that specific approved user. This would allow us to gather clarifications or supporting details post-approval, thereby improving the completeness and accuracy of our approval process.
