WLS / FMW 12.2.1.4 on RHEL 7 with a 19c multitenant repository
I have set up a new middleware server running a reports server. When I restart the services with Node Manager, I get a REP-51002 error attempting to run a test report.
To resolve this, we have to stop the firewall daemon, run a report (which works with the firewall off), and then start the firewall daemon again. After that little exercise, we can run reports successfully.
If we just restart the firewall daemon without running a report while it is down, we will continue to get the REP-51002 error.
My googling and Oracle Support searches are coming up empty, but it looks like we need to open a port on the firewall specifically for starting the reports server.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
