Reload ORDS after ORDS_PUBLIC_USER password change without restart service

Mustafa KALAYCINov 26 2024

Hi,

for Ords 22 and above, is there a way reload db password from wallet after changing ORDS_PUBLIC_USER's password. I set PASSWORD_ROLLOVER_TIME in necessary profile, so that after changing ords_public_user password, ords server is still able to connect but it is connecting with old password. I want to some how “reload” db password information from wallet on ords server but is the only option restart ords service? I searched on google and community but couldn't find a solution without restart.

so, I changed ords_public_user password, I created a new wallet for ords with new password and now I want ORDS use this new password/reload the wallet. is there a way without restart ords service?

thanks.
