Range multi-series Chart X axis number field not getting considered as number while Sorting when using apex default sort

Dhivya ShreeSep 3 2024

Hi, I am building a Range area chart , where the x axis label is a number field, the default skip gap label option is used.
The number has range of numbers from 99 to 9999 the sorting is considered from units place not as a whole number.
sort order is like (eg: 1000,22,950,99) inconsistent.

Setting values for the x axis - for Format, decimal places, pattern, etc. are not reflecting on the chart.

I wish to know, Is there a option to make X axis to consider the value as number/decimal.- for now it is considering it as character.

Please let me know any possible ways to handle this issue, I have been struggling for right guidance on this. Please do let me know if more inputs needed.
