RAC requires huge TEMP and UNDO

We recently migrated our 9iRAC (500GB) database to 4 node 9iRAC on Sun T2000.
Earlier we had 60GB TEMP and 80GB UNDO.
We are frequently getting unable to extend TEMP and also I see the UNDO is not properly sharing across the instances.

I had to increase the size of TEMP to 100GB and UNDO to 120GB .
Looks like, if we were to go 8 nodes, TEMP, UNDO & REDO will count more than the database size ;-?
Does anybody else had similar problems ?
