We are using apex / ords to develop some webservices and allowing those endpoints to be called by other systems in our organization. Some of them are protected by basic authentication. We have been running on apex 23.2 and an older ords for some time, but now we have upgrated to apex 24.2 and ords 25.1. After the upgrade we cannot authenticate to the endpoints (e.g. from postman or curl) anymore. We get 401 unauthorized.
Our services are custom made, not AutoRest.
Have spend many hours debugging and tried a lot of suggestions, but nothing helps.
So… just to rule it out: is basic authentication still supported in ords 25.1?
