Paste Multiple Values into an ApEx Item

I have a use-case where the user wants to be able to paste multiple values into an ApEx Item using Ctrl-V Paste and have ApEx accept them as individual values.

I tried various multiple value settings using a Combobox and Popup LOV Item and I have been unable to find a way to support this request.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
