So, I have a machine that is on a somewhat restricted DMZ with only a few connections allowed out, one of which was to a local mirror that carried centos packages. With centos gone, and the move to OL8, I find myself unable to update the system at all.
Looking at yum.oracle.com it's not just one address or block of addresses, it appears to be distributed through akamai. If I open that akamai address, I'll be allowing access to a whole lot of web pages, and it could change at any time, is that correct?
I don't see a single outside mirror. Is there any site where I can download updates from which would involve only a small and fixed address block to be opened in the firewall?
