ORDS maximum connection on ATP

APEX-DevSep 23 2024

Hi,

We have an Oracle APEX application on a paid autonomous database (ATP workload). According to ORDS documentation, the default maximum connections value is 100 and for large connection pool you need to setup Customer Managed ORDS. The 100 connection after a period of time it will NOT enough because on-premise we have reached more than 70 connection. The question is: Customer Managed ORDS is need to be setup on a compute instance, install a web server such as Tomcat and using a custom domain or it can work with our ATP ORDS URL “https://xxxxxxx.adb.me-jeddah-1.oraclecloudapps.com/ords/”. Actually, we have decided to move from on-premise to OCI because Database, APEX and ORDS are fully managed by Oracle and we just want to focus on developing applications. Any help sir @thatjeffsmith-oracle ?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.
