Hi guys.
So I read a post here, a few months old, titled "Is Oracle VM server dead?".
I'm aware of KVM virtualization, but only after reading that post I found Oracle was going this way.
I also read this article which seems very complete: https://www.exitas.be/blog/oracle-linux-virtualization-manager-olvm-replaces-oracle-vm-ovm/
From what I read, the idea is not much different, please tell me if I'm wrong. A dedicated manager is necessary, just like the VM manager, and then we can have several hosts (vm servers) to allow the creation of VMs, Live migration and the usual features.
As anyone migrated from VM Server to KVM?
Regards
David
