Oracle SQL Developer - Can it connect to SalesForce?

I been mainly on the Oracle side of things for the past while, and am familiar with Oracle SQL developer.
Recently I was tasked with looking into SalesForce, and was just doing some research on how to connect to SalesForce.
I was wondering can Oracle SQL Developer connect to SalesForce?
I found another tool (dBeaver) that looks promising, but I rather stick with Oracle SQL Developer if I can.
I understand SalesForce has SOQL I think its called, so its going to be different and Im new to all of this.
