Oracle Order Management Upgrade to 12.2 from 12.1.3 Inflight orders

SR Number 3-39079877701

Cisco Systems is upgrading their supply chain instance from 12.1.3 to 12.2.12 and in their test upgrades they have tested Sales Orders in the following status ( 12.1.3 pre upgrade) and completed processing the orders in the upgraded instance( 12.2.12) successfully without any issues

As the general thumb rule/best practice recommendations is to complete the processing of orders in the pre upgrade instance, they have raised a query with the ACS team as to whether there is any cause for concern in the above approach?

Following are the statuses of the orders:

<table><tbody><tr><td style="height:14.4pt;width:48pt;">S.NO</td><td style="border-left-style:none;width:488pt;">Inflight Sales Orders:</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">1</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in booked status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">2</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; Supply eligible&nbsp; status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">3</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; External Requisition Requested status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">4</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; PO Partial has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">5</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; Awaiting_Shipping status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">6</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; External Requisition Open status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">7</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in&nbsp; PO Open status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">8</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in PRODUCTION PARTIAL status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr><tr><td style="border-top-style:none;height:14.4pt;text-align:right;">9</td><td style="border-left-style:none;border-top-style:none;">Orders which are in SHIPPED status has been progressed to closure in upgraded vetrsion</td></tr></tbody></table>

Could you please advice whether there is any potential for attributes mismatch in the pre and post workflows that may not have been caught during testing to cause problems in production post go live?

Is the above a safe approach? Please advice with pointers if any. Also is there a query that we can extract for open workflows?

Thanks
