Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Oracle Intelligent Advisor Cloud Service being discontinued?
A: There is no announced end date for Oracle Intelligent Advisor Cloud Service support. Customers with existing Oracle Intelligent Advisor Cloud Service implementations can continue to renew and receive support.
Q: Can new customers purchase Oracle Intelligent Advisor Cloud Service?
A: No. Oracle Intelligent Advisor Cloud Service is not available for purchase by new customers.
Q: What alternatives are there for agent- and employee-facing interviews?
A: It depends what those interviews do. In Fusion, agent- and employee-facing data collection experiences are implemented in Redwood Service Center, HR Help Desk and employee Help Desk, which can be configured and extended for specific needs. For example, a simple data collection experience may be achieved by adding conditionally displayed fields to an existing object page (show Service Request fields A, B and C if the Service Request is “Product Return”).
Similarly, step-by-step agent- and employee-guidance can be delivered via Action Plans and employee Journeys.
For automation of follow-up actions, Oracle AI Agent Studio provides powerful out of the box and configurable options including triage, record creation, routing, response generation and more.
Where policy must be applied to make consistent, accurate decisions on the collected data, see “What alternatives are there for my decision rules?” below.
Q: What alternatives are there for consumer-facing interviews?
A: It depends what those interviews do. In Fusion, customer-facing data collection experiences are implemented as Oracle Visual Builder applications. Where rules are required, Visual Builder includes the ability to add custom code to perform calculations and enrich the end user experience.

Q: What alternatives are there for decision rules?
A: In Fusion, decision making on a single transaction (for example, making a decision about a Case or Service Request) is automated via AI Agent Studio. Specifically, the Policy Builder feature in AI Agent Studio allows business users to define rule logic and test cases in plain language, which is then converted to code for fast, determinative decision making. This is particularly useful for policy or business decisions where 100% accuracy and consistency are required, making LLM or RAG based decisioning unsuitable.
Complex and batch decisions (for example, processing all social security benefit payments for a single month) can be implemented as OCI Serverless Functions.
Q: Is migration tooling available?
A: Not at this time. If you have an Intelligent Advisor project you want to migrate to an alternative, please reach out to Oracle Support who can connect you with the Intelligent Advisor product development team to explore viability for your specific implementation.
Q: Who can I contact with additional questions?
