ORA-29540: Class CalcSHA2 not found

We would like to use this function, calcsha2, but the following message appears. Maybe a missing privilege?

select * from user_objects where object_type='JAVA CLASS';

returns: calcsha2

Any ideas or solutions? This cannot be something that nobody has experienced.
