TimesTen release 22.1.1.34.0 is now available. It contains the following new features for the TimesTen Kubernetes Operator (TimesTen Operator):
- The ability to install the TimesTen Operator at cluster-scope.
- The ability to use NodePort Services and the Connection Manager to optimize client/server performance.
- The ability to automatically create self-signed certificates and configure TimesTen to use these certificates for client/server TLS encryption.
- The implementation of the TT_MAX_RECONCILES environment variable (YAML manifest files) and maxReconciles variable (Helm charts), which determine the number of TimesTenClassic objects that the TimesTen Operator processes concurrently. The default value for both is 2.
- The implementation of a default security context that includes the Kubernetes default seccomp profile for Pods created by and for the TimesTen Operator.
- The implementation of default affinity and anti-affinity settings for Pods created for TimesTenClassic objects.
- The addition of the v4 schema version for the TimesTenClassic CRD.
