Mysterious Java-related file, in Mac High_Sierra's /System/Library/Java/Extensions folder, is what, exactly ?

MRJToolkit.jar has a modification-date, of October, 2017, even after installing the Java 1.8.0_191 jre & jdk !

It is NOT mentioned, in the following un-installation "help" URLs :
