Manipulate to hide/show behavior of a chart legend in APEX

In apex the chart legend for my combination chart has built in hide in show behavior. Is there a way to manipulate it so that when I first load my chart the legend defaults to a hide behavior that allows me to click which topic I want to show first like in the image below?
