Made wrong "emca -config dbcontrol db" with bad -HOST and -*PWD: how roll it back/deconfig ?

1007321Apr 24 2014 — edited Apr 24 2014

Hi

In 11gR2 during some of my databases creation I left the -HOST parameter, wrong

-DBSNMP_PWD, -SYS_PWD and -SYSMAN_PWD passwords as well and wrong

-CLUSTER_NAME too...

Should I completely undo this mistake - if yes how, or should I re-run emca -silent

with my options simply corrected ?

I used the following exact command:

emca -config dbcontrol db -silent -cluster -ASM_USER_ROLE SYSDBA -ASM_USER_NAME ASMSNMP -CLUSTER_NAME <wrong> -LOG_FILE emConfig.log -SID XXXX01A -ASM_SID +ASM1 -DB_UNIQUE_NAME XXXX01A -EM_HOME $ORACLE_HOME -SERVICE_NAME XXXX01A -ASM_PORT 1521 -PORT 1521 -LISTENER_OH $GRID_HOME -LISTENER LISTENER -ORACLE_HOME $ORA_HOME -HOST <wrong_name> -ASM_OH $GRID_HOME -DBSNMP_PWD <wrong pwd> -SYS_PWD <wrong pwd> -ASM_USER_PWD <correct pwd> -SYSMAN_PWD <wrong pwd>

Thanks a lot for your help...

Regards,

Seb
