Hi All,
I hope this is the right place to post this issue that I am having.
I've searched the web and cannot find anything related so I figured it was time to ask.
I have 2 different JSP applications, Both Windows environment. One is WebLogic 10.3.6 the other is Tomcat 7.0.
Whenever, using the "GET" method, I supply a parameter VALUE of "java.lang.ProcessBuilder" I receive a message in the browser (IE11, Chrome and Firefox) of "Cant' Reach this Page".
When looking at the log, there is no indication that the webserver was hit.
When I change the method to POST and set the element.value the calls are successful.
Here are calls to my basic page examples.
Here is an example url that does not work:
http://localhost:7003/testJavaLang/testGetRequest.jsp?myparam=java.lang.ProcessBuilder
Here is a call that does work:
http://localhost:7003/testJavaLang/testGetRequest.jsp?myparam=java.lang.processbuilder
Note the only difference is the lower case "P" and "B".
Here is my basic webpage:
<%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"
pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1"%>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
<title>Get Request Parameter in JSP Page</title>
</head>
<body>
<br><br><br>
<p>Parameter myparam: <%= request.getParameter("myparam") %> </p>
</body>
</html>
Has anyone ever seen this and can point me in the correct direction to resolve it?
Thanks
Loren
