Hello,
I know almost nothing about JDE and am interest to discover if certain functionality is possible.
I've done some cursory googling, but don't even know the correct terminology for the functionality I am looking for.
In my organization, we have an antiquated standalone application which is used for creating a batch of cheques which is then printed.
The staff who created this app are no longer with the organization and we would like to move to something more supportable.
This application basically queries the JDE database to find all cheque objects with given parameters and organizes the data into a long pdf for printing.
Is this a task that could be accomplished natively in JDE?
Another function of the application is that it 'locks' the batch that is created which prevents a user from rerunning & reprinting the given collection of cheques.
The intention here is security to prevent a user from printing duplicate cheques.
Is this something that can be accomplished natively in JDE?
I hope this is the correct forum for this question!
Thanks for the help!!
