Installing Oracle Forms 12.2.1.3, OBIEE 12.2.1.3 and weblogic 12.2.1.3

Hi Masters,

As we know that Oracle forms can be integrated with BI Publisher, I am trying to install the same but have one doubt.

For Forms and OBIEE (both) we need weblogic infra installed (which is prerequisite).

So do we have to install weblogic infra separately for Forms/Reports and OBIEE or we can install weblogic infra once and than we can use same (middle-ware home) for Forms and OBIEE.

I mean can we use same middle-ware home and keep Forms/reports in one domain and OBIEE in another domain ?? If yes than can you share some light on it through some document or is there any sequence to install Forms/OBIEE in same middle-ware home. Because I tried installing Forms and OBIEE separately which is working fine.

I want to achieve that in one console (http://localhost:7001/console) we should get all servers viz Forms, Reports and OBIEE.

And if not than does it means we must have two middle-ware homes for Forms/Reports and OBIEE, if this is the way than maintainability will be bit issue coz there will be multiple weblogic passwords, consoles, ports etc.

I am planning to use only one (physical) App server for Forms and OBIEE.

I am doing this coz I am trying to migrate my current reports (rdf) to BI reports. And also want to take the full advantage of BI (visualization/analytics) in Oracle Forms.

Kindly guide me, the way forward.

Thanks.

Regards,

Ashu
