In sandbox Authorization fails with "token-required" - ANSWERED

Workflow or API calls:

My Smart on FHIR application gets called with iss and launch parameters from the sandbox. When I call the following endpoint with my client_id and launch code I receive from the sandbox I get an error.

REQUEST:

GET https://fhir-ehr-code.cerner.com/r4/ec2458f2-1e24-41c8-b71b-0e701af7583d/connect/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=686eb80f-e368-4897-84eb-8938a5aaaf19&redirect_uri=&state=1234&scope=user/*.read&launch=8d8655c7-1d28-4f7c-bb15-e69a3b364a46
