How to use -XexitOnOutOfMemory?

GavinWoodsJul 18 2013 — edited Jul 30 2013

I am building new WebLogic Servers for ADF running on "jrockit-jdk1.6.0_45-R28.2.7-4.1.0". We have an issue that we're working on where we get OutOfMemory errors. Regardless,

Based on this document: -XX Command-line Options ,  there is a parameter to tell jrockit jvm to shutdown when there is an OutOfMemory error ("-XXexitOnOutOfMemory"). This parameter would be perfect, as instead of leaving WebLogic in a hanging state, it would shutdown and node manager will just boot it back up.

However, when i add the parameter to my startup WebLogic parameters ("-XXexitOnOutOfMemory"), JRockit says this argument is an invalid argument.

How can i implement this?

Thank you,
