How Golden Gate works in case Of Bi-directional Setup

Hi Team,

I had some basic doubt regarding how GG process works in case DB down in bi-directional set up.

Below two are my questions. Could anyone please help me to understand.

  1. If DB1 goes down and comes up will MGR process will automatically start or need any manual intervention.
  2. We had bi-directional setup between DB1 and DB2, DB1 goes down. Will DB2 pump process keep sending trail files to remote host (DB1 server) or will it keep on adding in local trail location.
  3. In case of archive log deleted from source DB how to recover the the extract process or we need to rebuild the target by initial load and then re-register the extract process.
