Feature Request - Favorite Connections and Changes of Behavior in SQL Worksheet Connection List Item

tomwnSep 16 2024 — edited Sep 16 2024

I have a lot of saved connections, most of which I use infrequently. I may go through a period of using connection A heavily for a day or two and then that's it for a long while.

It would be nice if I could mark a connection as a favorite and have it show up in a “Favorites” folder that appears right under “Oracle Connections” at the top of the Connections pane.

Also, I find it somewhat inconvenient to use the Connections list item on SQL Worksheets (the list item that appears at the top right of the SQL Worksheet pane and lets you pick a connection for the worksheet). It would be nice if that could consistently show (1) open connections as the first items in the list, followed by (2) favorite connections, and then (3) all of the other connections.

What I would love most of all is for someone to point out that this functionality already exists and I am just missing it.

Thank You!

-Tom
