Error when testing Database Preferred Credentials

Cac47Aug 25 2010
Hi DB managers,

Am facing a wired issue with Grid 11G2 on Linux

everything works Fine, but when I try to configure the usenames and Password in the Database prefered Credentials I get an Error every Time I try to Test with an OS User.
Connections with Database Login users it's fine, but the OS Host users as "oracle" or "root" or any other user, doesn work.
Below Error Message
Error

Connection to srvldbt04 as user oracle failed.

Database Preferred Credentials

Any ideas about what you have done to bypass this?
Another Question? How Grid connects to the Host - with ssh, telnet, ?

Txs if you can help
Rgds
