elimination of numbers in prompts

Dear All

We have a requirement where in one column we have values like below.

01
02
03
.45
.97
19.01
22.02
PRM
PRS
CEB etc .. Now our user doesnt want any of those numbers to appear in the prompts while selecting the values. They want only PRM , PRS , BNS such characters to appear when they select the multiselect option to pick up the values at prompts.

Now which function can i use and how can i eliminate numbers so that user doesnt see any of these numbers in the list of values?

Please help me as this is quite urgent.
