Dynamic action to toggle "start new row" on/off for region?

PaavoJun 6 2025

I have grid region with report favourites and some of those are so wide, that I would love to show the grid starting from col 1 / “start new row” instead of its default automatic new column. Also the maxed out grid has issues with paging, so rather stick to normal page.

Other solution would be to have region dividers like in App Builder. but FR-2090 is not yet there.
Also I have done several trials to hide/show empty regions to mimic “start new row” prior wanted region. But end-results are not very good. And deleting regions goes to darkness.

So is there way to just toggle “start new row" on/off for wanted region? Or is it tampering the page badly?

For the end-users I would hide the grid toolbar and just make buttons to toggle favourites+new row back and forth.
