Does anyone used FDMEE as a replacement for EAL during EPM 11.2 upgrade

We tried using FDMEE to replace EAL as a part of EPM-HFM upgrade from EPM 11.1.2.4 to EPM 11.2 as mentioned by Oracle.
But the time difference in FDMEE is too long compared to EAL?
Does anyone face similar issue?
