Creating child under a different parent in target - Ravi Mallela

user13157139Jul 23 2026 — edited Jul 24 2026

I have source structure as Source Parent A. I am creating a SourceChildA under the source Parent A and expecting it to be created under Target Structure Target Parent B. I can computer what is the Target Parent name in source itself.

In source i have Parent Node Type and Child node Type.

In Target i have only one node type.

Here trouble no matter what i tried between Hierarchy to Hierarchy type Node converter ( subscription ) the parent either should be same or Parent is coming as blank and getting created root of target structure .

Any one has similar situation and experience.

Please share your sight. ( i can get over this with Hier - Flat - hier type subscriptions and carry my target manufactured parent name but parent only gets calculate and store one time in a request scope but it will not be recalculated for each entry of the request. – Ravi Mallela
