column 2 based on column 1 in APEX Report

I am having two columns col 1 and col2 in that col2 is link column with span class button in it …So i need to show this button when the status of first col1 is ‘pending’ …. I applied a case in SQL query but still it snot working ..is ther any way to sort out?
