Cannot find jre1.8.0_20 folder after decompressing jdk-8u20-linux-x64.tar.gz

Hello, I downloaded jdk-8u20-linux-x64.tar.gz to install it into Ubuntu and followed these steps   http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Oracle-Java-JDK-on-Ubuntu-Linux. Here it clearly mentions in the 7th step that I have to double check that there are two directories 1. jdk1.8.0_20 (which I have) 2. jre1.8.0_20 (NOT FOUND!!!). Is it the recent change? Is that not compulsory to be present in this version? I just want to be sure before I'm going to use Java since I'm not a good user of Ubuntu and not think myself capable of correcting things if anything goes wrong.
