Can SQLDeveloper be configured to save or persist the SQL Worksheets in case of a crash?

GasparYYCMar 6 2024 — edited Mar 6 2024

As it always happens with SQLDeveloper, it decided to freeze or crash at the worst time (before I saved the code in the SQL Worksheet). I know this is my fault but to be fair I am used to other editors that auto-save or persist (whatever is called) the code like Notepad++ I wonder if this is a feature that can be enabled in SQLDeveloper?

Thanks

Note: We are also using SQLDeveloper for VSCode but that one has other issues that make us not use it. I'll report that in the appropriate forum. I mention this because SQLDeveloper has the persisting of code.

Note2: Not referring to a query executed, that particular case works fine by showing in the history.
