ZFS ARC arcstats:c_min
I have a Solaris 10 update 6 server with no zpools defined and yet when I look at the ZFS ARC min cache c_min, it says it's using 7.8GB of kernel memory. When I actually look at the total kernel memory, the ARC minimum is not included.
So am I loosing ~8GB or is the default setting misleading, and even though it has that figure, it's not really being used "live", and is only when a zpool has been defined.
