xterm connection error

Hello all,

I have and issue wherby when I try to connect to a machine via xterm , it gives the below error message

Starting...
Locating session...
...found session
Connecting to session...

Application server authentication failed

Logging in to the application server...
Logging in to the application server...

Keyboard-interactive:

****** Password:
Disconnected (remote); protocol error (No terminal authorization granted).

Connection to *********.com closed.

Standard error of script process:

Has anyone encountered this .I can perfectly ssh to this same machine...(Tarantella 4.31 on Sun solaris 8)
