Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "host:0.0"

Dear all,
I'm trying to start the Package Manager on a Sun Sparc using /usr/lib/pm-launch packagemanager where I
directed the display output to a system running Solaris 10 x86.
This didn't work because the Solaris 11 system is saying: Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "host:0.0"
Any idea how to correct this situation?
