xhost: unable to open display "10...*:0.0"

hi all,
i m facing this problem i.e
xhost: unable to open display "10.*.*.*:0.0"
first time i did the same steps & i had installed the oracle 10g on rhel 5 successfully..
but this time above problem persists...................

one more thing i hv doubt regarding this ......i am following oracle-base url

in my /etc/redhat-release, i changed the redhat 5.1 (Tikanga) to redhat-4
& after cp oraparam.ini to /tmp, i added only "redhat-5" to the specified line.................

can someone help me regarding this
