XE Prod installed successfully on ... (OS & hardware)
... SuSE 10. - Dell Latitude C840 - 1GB RAM
It's the only Oracle DB on that system although many, from 8i on, have cycled thru.
Uninstalled the beta (as root, rpm -e oracle-xe). Installation 'by the book' - no special effort required at all.
Congrats to the Oracle team, and especially to our hosts Mark Townsend and Tom Kyte.
