XBRL Taxonomy Editor

I would like to utilise XML DB for developing a XBRL solution that provides the formatting and sharing of financial information. I understand that I can store and query XML but I would also like to provide access to non-technical users. Does anyone have experience of using the following with XML DB (preferable Oracle products):

- Implementing an XBRL taxonomy editor with XML DB
- Metadata management for taxonomy development

Is this something that XMLPublisher could be used for?
