XA support for Oracle XA
578392May 18 2007 — edited Jun 27 2008I love the idea of XE and want my whole development team to start using it on their local environments. However, one of the vendor tools we use require Oracle to have XA enabled. I've read 2 posts that were similar to this question but neither gave a clear answer of whether you could enable XA for Oracle 10g XE. If not, then so be it but it would be great if it's simply a matter of running the enable XA scripts from a 10g EE instance against XE (I already have the license for 10g EE).
The XE documentation has NOTHING regarding XA so I'm not too optimistic.
