WSDL with Multiple Operations in OSB

Daniel MerchánSep 15 2015 — edited Sep 21 2015

Hello.

I am introducing myself into the Oracle Service Bus world and I have some question regarding to best practices in order to organize my project.

I have a unique external WSDL which provides around ~40 Services and I want to Proxy them into the OSB.

Currently I just created a Proxy Service which pass through the operation to the External Web Service. (1 PS, 1 Pipeline, 1 Business Service). However, It is not the best pracitce I think.

  • It is recommended to create an operational branch to manage specificaly each service (in order to add operations such error handling and log) right?
  • If I want to generate a new service which mix two operations then should I use SplitJoins right?
  • The 40 Services can be easily splitted into 4 categories. It is recommended then to generate 4 PS and 4 PP for that?

Any input or suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Kind regards.
